The challenge posed to theological training in the NHKA and the HKSA We live today in a world that is profoundly different from that of the past. In understanding the need of theological training for the Nederduitsch Hervonnde Kerk van Afrika and the Hervonnde Kerk in Suidelike Afrika certain factors have to be taken in consideration. Among these factors are concepts, assumptions, prejudices, new knowledge, changing methods, differing contexts and altered world views. These are entangled with economic, social, political and scientific changes as well as with linguistic and religious developments. This discussion takes place in the hope that both churches will benefit from this.
